Manjari Fadnnis – Model, Actress and Singer

Let’s begin with your work in Pune Highway.
I am playing Natasha Khandelwal, the only girl in the group of her brother and her other boy gang. She loves her friends and is ready to do anything for them. It is a murder mystery that has caught the attention of Gen Z.

You have done several films down South. How was your experience there?
They are very professional, time conscious and punctual. I have noticed that down there, the filmmakers are extremely organized, which is quite evident as the films are finished from the beginning till the end.

You have tried your hand at singing. Let’s talk about that.
I sang for the first time as a playback singer for the song Azhagana Neeyum in the Tamil film Muthirai. I have just released my single Saare Watan ka Pyaara, a soulful track. It is already trending online.

It’s said that your parents were not in favour of you entering in Bollywood. Is that true?
I am so proud of the values given to me by them. Initially, my parents wouldn’t want me to join the film industry. However, once I had done my first film, it was my father who gave me the piece of advice to be true to my craft. I have treasured the letter written by my daddy who insisted that I keep updating myself and not waste any time.

Which are your upcoming films?
There is Zindagi Namkeen with Shreyas Talpade, another thriller Pigeon and an exciting film with Abbas Mustan. I am quite satisfied with the work on my hands.

What is Manjari Fadnnis in person?
I am a creative soul and am passionate about singing, music and acting. I do a lot of reading and am influenced by Paulo Coelho novels, Ken Follett, Brian Weiss books on past life regression, Jeffrey Archer and Andaleeb Wajid’s romcoms. I am highly influenced by Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead. This book is my life!
